Which one should you pick?

Pick Evernote AI if this matters most to you: Mature, dependable platform with a huge base of long-time users. Pick Mem if this does: Removes manual filing — AI links and surfaces related notes automatically.

Both are freemium, so price is unlikely to decide it.

We have not fully rated both tools yet, so treat this as a starting point rather than a verdict.

The trade-offs are real on both sides: Evernote AI's biggest limit is that free plan is now very restrictive (limited notebooks and note count); Mem's is that weak for people who prefer manual folder/tag control over their system.
